EAS Face Fungus Mo Team 2011

Ok, so this is nearly the 1st week of December over, Christmas shopping should now be well underway!  If in the madness you've forgotten to order your banners for your January events don't panic, we are still taking orders for our products, especially our teardrop banners & pop up banners, until the 12th December for delivery by 3rd Jan 2012.

Secret Santa and Fish n Chip Monday will be visiting our office on Monday 19th December.  It's also the original EAS Stigs birthday so I'm sure they'll also be cakes floating around.  What more could you want on the Monday before Christmas? Diet starts in the new year me thinks!

Santa, Chips, The Stig cake = Heaven!

This year our Christmas shut down period this year will be from 23rd December 2011 to 3rd Jan 2012.  Don't forget to check out Expandasign UK website in Jan for our New Year special offers.

Festive Greetings

Well we're all back in the office now after a successful time at the ESS 2011 show last week.

It was great to see so many people through the doors over the two days.  We definitely didn't feel the cold this year as the heating seemed to be stuck on full in all the halls!  Although at least when the air-con did come on our lovely teardrop, feather andwing banners flapped around in the breeze.

I think next year we'll have to get some feather banners or pop ups made to explain the guys on the stand all looking like something out of the 70's!

At last the final day of sitting in the office feeling like the only one not in the village people!  Hopefully the guys will all remember where they hung the razors 30 days ago and the village people will disappear for another year.

I'd like to take this chance to say well done to all the guys and all the wonderful people that managed to sponsor them.  They are up to £600 with the promise of more money still to come.  Remember if you'd still like to donate you can do so here

Right off to put the Crimbo tree up now!

Movember Week 1

Well that's the first week of Movember nearly out of the way and I must say that all the Mo's seem to be coming on well in the office!  So far not too many complaints from wives/girlfriends but I suppose it is still early days!

This week we have already raised nearly £200 so well done to everyone, that has already donated and if you haven't already you can donate here!

On the 23rd & 24th Movember we will be at the ESS 2011 ,so if anyone is going to visit the show feel free to pop onto stand 258 .  This year we will have a Mo Bro showing off our flying banners and pop ups so you'll be able to meet one of the Mo's in person!

More Movember updates to follow next week.

Flying Banner Scrabble

At the Great South Run last weekend it looked like scrabble using the Flying Banners !  What would be your word/ word score?, we get 'Tranquil'.

The lettered banners were used as a meeting place for the record 24,000 runners that hit the streets of Portsmouth. This was the 22nd Great South Run, raising approximately £3m for various charities.

Europe's biggest 10-mile (16km) road race was won by the Kenyan Leonard Komon in 46 minutes and 18 seconds.

Apart from elite athletes, the race attracted celebrities, sports stars, club runners and fundraisers.

A massive congratulations to everyone that took part.

Movember at EAS UK

It's nearly that time again when we will be supporting Movember once again.

Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically cancers that affect men.
Last year we were lucky enough to raise over £1000 thanks to the support from Expandasign clients, friends and family.

A big thanks goes out to all those wives and girlfiends that also supported the guys involved by putting up with the Mo for a month!

If you would like to show your support and have a few spare pennies here is the link to our Mo Team page, 'FACE FUNGUS EAS UK'.

We'll keep you updated with our weekly progress and for anyone lucky enough to be at the Emergency Services Show they'll get to see some of the Expandasign teams progress in person!

Don't forget you can follow us on Twitter & Facebook for regular updates on all our goings on.

My 1st Blog

Hello peeps,

Happy Monday!

Thought it was about time I dragged myself into the here and now and sorted out this blogging lark!

We were at the Rewind Festival in Henley last weekend and didn't let the rain dampen our sprits on Saturday. Would've been great if I'd been able to take a Gazebo or POP Up from the office to keep us a bit drier but it was packed as it was!

All the bands were fab and kept the crowd singing in the rain. I can't believe Bananarama looked the same as I remember and oh my doesn't  Billy Ocean still know how to work the crowd and who'd have thought I'd see over 30,000 people doing the YMCA with the Original Village People.

Sunday was even better with the fab sunshine and great line up to match.  Next year we will definitely be taking a flag or some sort of banner from work to help find our way back from the bar/toilets etc.

It looks as though the summer may now be over but at least we managed to get a few sunny days in.

We're looking forward to Rewind next year.
